The bigger issue as I see it, and where I can see the conference being hurt is the loss of the AQ for the "BCS" bowls. Since this new 4 team format forces the bowls to ignore traditional bowl matchups, this is an area where I see coming chaos and a mad scramble to establish a new pecking order for the next tier of bowl games. It wiLl be quite interesting to see the details worked out. I just see this system as creating more chaos (and greater opportunities) as a new pecking order for bowls is established. SEC will further expand, ACC will further expand, BigXII will expand, then PAC and B1G may try to expand as well... It may take 3 years, 5 years, or 10 years but I believe it will happen. pure speculation. there is absolutely no reason for anymore movement except maybe the big 12 to get a champ game again. why would they dilute their revenues? I could see a conference adding a huge get like a ND, Texas, UF but there will be no more missouri, texas a&m, neraska, colorado, etc. if there was such a huge demand to grow conferences and consolidate then the big boys would be gathering. they wouldn't be picking off the little fish.they picked off little fish to renegotiate tv contracts. Syracuse is a hallowed hall of ivy.
