Say what you will about Schiano being a whining-jerk of a coach... this shows some class and respect. Something missing since the Dungy teams.

Well done Mr. Schiano!

Sad but this headline is the most coverage the Bucs have had in a while.

You think so? Despite the surprise hire of Greg Schiano in January, huge free agency moves, their being named the NFC South draft winners, there's been quite a bit of coverage on the Bucs this offseason.

Now if you said this is the most POSITIVE coverage the Bucs have had in a while, you would be correct.

Big stories in Tampa and NJ

Agreed! Feel good story is always nice.

Very classy.

As for real class:

After the injury, Schiano would coach his team at Rutgers during the day and make the more than one hour drive from Piscataway to Hackensack, N.J., to sit with LeGrand overnight at the hospital and relieve his mother, Karen. LeGrand considers Schiano a 'father figure.'

As much as I couldn't stand him as coach of Rutgers, I have to give it to Coach Schiano here. He's loyal and he cares. To me, that's a real man.

Very classy but he is still a douchebag.

Agreed. I am starting to like this hire more and more for the Bucs.

Last I checked the scoreboard doesn't have a spot for current bank balance on it.
