Basically saying that there's more to a RB than just speed. If he's getting caught by LBs, he's getting to the 2nd level and able to recognize where the gaps will be in at the LOS. That's pretty good for a guy that age, imo.

I guess the comments are aimed at the op who said he had great speed and we need a homerun hitter .... Watching the video, I didn't get the impression of a homerun hitter but doesn't mean he can't help us ... Andre wasn't a homerun hitter, either.

Scout says he runs a 4.5 40. I wouldn't classify that as "homerun" ability, but there's more to being a productive RB than speed, as was pointed out in some of the other comments.

Speed is definitely a major plus, but elusiveness and the ability to break tackles or "truck" is high on the elements for a good back.

Emmitt Smith wasn't that fast either - would you have passed on him?

I don't recall emmit ever get caught by a linebacker from behind.
