I'm not a big fan of this kid. Our RB options are pretty underwhelming though, so if he can provide depth immediately then it's probably worth it.

I guess you can't read in between the lines - someone looking slow doesn't mean they're not good, or wouldn't be successful.

Basically saying that there's more to a RB than just speed. If he's getting caught by LBs, he's getting to the 2nd level and able to recognize where the gaps will be in at the LOS. That's pretty good for a guy that age, imo.

Hard to tell from highlights, but he seems to have pretty good vision. Though not the fastest back, he is pretty elusive with the ability to break tackles.
