Seems everyone is a little testy around here...a lot of name calling starting yesterday and continuing today.

I can't wait until our perfect season and we are national champs.

We have gotten used to melting down in the conference but when you lost to an in-state rival in a game you should have won people get a bit testy.

Sorry Brad. I really didn't mean to lose my cool like that.

94:

BJ stats are insanely inflated and has only played well against sub par competition.

We don't have a QB as evidenced by our complete unwillingness to throw more than 5 yards downfield. The offense did not run like this at ECU for Fitch and Skip.

Ive run out of reasons to explain why we refuse to let BJ throw over the middle or beyond 5-10 yards... They don't trust the guy....

Either the coaches are handcuffing BJ for no reason or they don't trust him.

We don't need a guy like luck but we do need a guy who can see over the lineman and deliver the ball over the middle of the field. Having success as a QB at 5'9 5'10 is very challenging

Thanks for the apology and knowing we don't want to devolve into that. I appreciate your contributions here and I know it can be tough sometimes. Especially tough when we lose. Winning does cure everything.

seriously. what is it about conference stats that you don't understand?

these are stats against our conference opponents only. famu, ball state, etc are not included. go to the big east website to check for yourself.

they are the same for them.

he is ranked #2 in the conference for passing.

#2 for total offense.

#5 for rushing.

our offense is ranked #2 total offense.

#1 rushing offense.

and #2 passing offense.

we are #1 in total first downs and #2 for 3rd down conversions.

again these are all conference only stats and rankings. meaning only conference games count.

height has nothing to do with success. doug flutie was pretty good. kansas had like a 5'8" QB lead them to the orange bowl.

they are coaching scared. I don't know why but maybe the pressure is getting to him. we have success anytime we throw to a TE over the middle yet we rarely do it. we opened up against syracuse and that worked out real well. same against cincy. our red zone offense has been abysmal. i think due in part to his conservative nature. he doesn't want to risk turnovers. he settles for Fgs and boom boom has had a bad year. he is coaching not to lose.

why is he apologizing to you? he called me the idiot.

Joe it's just my opinion. no need to get worked up about it.

please don't act like Brown walked into a disaster at Texas though.

they won the SWAC 27 times in 80 years.

they won the big 12 in 1996(1 year before mack took over) by beating 2 time defending national champ Nebraska in the championship game.

you act like he resurrected a dead program.

I stand by my 2 conference championships in 23 years is not impressive.

Lol height has a lot to do with success at QB... Clearly taller guys can see the field a whole hell of a lot better.

Flutie and brees are so rare.... You can give me all the stats you want but the long plays are sdnk and dunk plays that go for a bUnch of yards....

Why would coaches coach scared? Problem because they don't trust their quarterback.... I said it earlier at ECU this is not how they ran their offense. They don't trust BJ at all.
