It would be nice to see this ungodly speed on offense, but it does us no good if Daniels cannot find him downfield.   The play would have to be called to T-Rex because Daniels will not look to see if he is open as a secondary receiver.

So sad yet so true :(

I was literally getting ready to post this exact same comment.  We have had open receivers on almost every interception...BJ stares a hole through one guy....he's a very talented athlete, not a very talented QB

I agree...

This might benefit us in scoring once BJ has been benched and assuming our backups can perform better.

Every game this season BJ only reads one WR and does not look around the field for other open receivers.

His nickname should be BJ "Clydesdale" Daniels... because he has blinders on when he is on the field.

That really was my point as well.  However, maybe this will be good.  If we have a receiver that can simply outrun the coverage it doesn't matter if Daniels tracks him with a laser beam, as long as he can hit him in stride with the ball.

Trying to see the positive in all this chatter.

It'd be nice to have someone that will stretch the D.

Maybe T-Rex can run the fly, which will spread the D out a lil more and let the bigger guys, Landi and Knowles, find some holes in the middle of the field.

Speed is a real pisser to defend...and other than Lamar there isn't a whole lot of it out there...

I love T-Rex's attitude, but I don't like this move from the coaching staff.  This doesn't help us at all--as others have already said, we don't need speed at WR so much as experience.  And since he's not taking a redshirt, T-Rex is a guy who we need developing at his true position.  This move seems desperate--which I understand we are--but very shortsighted.

No endorsement!

This should help, not hinder, his development as a DB predator, since he'll be spending some time learning to think and act like his prey.

I am sure many of our "experts" think we should give him a shot @ QB

He couldn't be any worse

T-Rex to receiver in place of Landi - Then move Landi to QB.
