Some of you guys are so smug.  Ryan Leaf's biggest problem was that he was a mental midget.  Not the case with Tebow.  If he doesn't do well in the NFL, it won't be for lack of brains.

I hope you guys will own up to being wrong if he does do well, though.  I for one am happy for him and wish him well.

Really?  So we're going to base our assessment of someone's intelligence off standardized tests?  With as many people as there are on this board, I imagine there are some that would be in a similar boat when they tested in school.  You're conveniently leaving out that he had over a 3. something grade point average at UF while playing football.  That's hard to do, and especially at UF.  Tebow didn't even do too bad on the Wonderlic, cmhatter.  A lot of other people fared worse.

And I'd like to see a link  that shows his SAT score was 870.

Standardized tests aren't perfect, in fact they suck, but they are far closer to reflecting how "smart" someone is than GPA is. The reality is, no one number, aside from a legitimate IQ test perhaps, really shows exactly HOW smart a person is. But smart people don't score less than 900 on the SAT.

With as many people as there are on this board, I imagine there are some that would be in a similar boat when they tested in school.

That doesn't make it a good score, it just means other people besides Tim Tebow get terrible scores.

Please.

<a href="http://www.justfuckinggoogleit.com/">Here you go</a>. (It was actually 890.)

You think any prof dare to risk incurring the wrath of God, or worse, Meyer, by giving him a 'C' ....?

Yeah but what was his major? It was something like Community Mentoring or something. Not exactly Nuclear Physics.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
