By the way, I'm considering going, just to root against UCiF. Anyone down?

The Big East adjusts the payouts that go to its member schools -- if I remember right, Toronto, Birmingham and St. Petersburg will all have the same $1 million payout this year.

the payout is the same but travel costs will be a factor that the Big East gives an extra allowance-- that was the case for the Sun Bowl as I recall

We will play in the Yankee Bowl next year in order to complete the American League East trifecta.

Can you imagine if somehow UCiF pulls a win out of their a$$?

This place would have to go on lockdown to keep the UCiF trolls out.

lol  All that it would take is for the score to be better than 31-0 and we're going to hear it.  You can bet on that...Everything from, "if we would've played this year blah blah blah"...

We're trying to get some lower level seats.  If we can, we're going.

All I remember last year was Schiano crying to everyone and his brother because he wanted to come to St. Pete Bowl and that we should be in Birmingham.  He wanted to recruit down here, so tell him to shut up he got his wish.

I actually give the Kanigits more credit than that. They've stopped coming around because they know the difference in programs at this point in time. A win in a meaningless bowl over an uninspired fellow BE team won't change that .... It would, I believe, be their first win over a BCS team with a winning record so they'd have that going for them.
