All I remember last year was Schiano crying to everyone and his brother because he wanted to come to St. Pete Bowl and that we should be in Birmingham.  He wanted to recruit down here, so tell him to shut up he got his wish.

I remember that too.  Now he realizes that he won't be able to get the maximum (16 days) allowed practices in because the bowl game is in 2 weeks and Rutgers has finals.  Classic case of always wanted what others have - boo hoo.

By the way, I'm considering going, just to root against UCiF. Anyone down?

I would go if I could get free tickets.  Then again, being surrounded by a bunch of Knights - scarlett, golden or in this case both - could be a nightmare.  >:D

lol  All that it would take is for the score to be better than 31-0 and we're going to hear it.  You can bet on that...Everything from, "if we would've played this year blah blah blah"...

Doesn't even have to be that. Even if they only score a FG, they'll claim they would have beat us 3-0.

Can you imagine if somehow UCiF pulls a win out of their a$$?

This place would have to go on lockdown to keep the UCiF trolls out.

I actually give the Kanigits more credit than that. They've stopped coming around because they know the difference in programs at this point in time. A win in a meaningless bowl over an uninspired fellow BE team won't change that .... It would, I believe, be their first win over a BCS team with a winning record so they'd have that going for them.

You should definitely read their message board if you think that.

There is no benefit to going to the Hockey Bowl... it will be an unfortunate because there will be virtually no Bulls in attendance, I'm going to guess that we won't have more then 100 Bulls in the stands.

The biggest benefit is the extra practice (16 days) that this young team will get.  Which will not only help the younger players develop for next year, but hopefully help the coaches identify the not so obvious postions that need to be addressed.
