Just watched College Football Live. Had Kirk Herbstreet (sp?) on talking about the big games this week.  When they got to USF-UC, the only question they asked was "Can the Big East title winner, play for the championship?".  Kirk replies, "No, Cincinnati's shedule or any of the other teams schedules are just not tought enough to jump up in the national championship. Even if Cincinnati runs the table, or another team, I just don't see it happpening".

Looks like ESPN is already giving Cincinnati the Big East title. Luckily it's not the Nobel Prize and the Big East title must be earned with wins.

Oh, and still hardly any coverage about our game. Mostly OU-TX and USC-ND.

Not so much...They gave us more than enough kudos in the past, then we choked....We need to step up and win. If that happens, we'll get the attention we deserve. We beat FSU, that was awesome. That was also 3 weeks ago.

It would be alot easier if Cinci had not got spanked in the Orange Bowl last year.  With that on their record it makes it harder to talk about them in a NC game.  WV because it had done well in their past BCS bowl games was right in the thick of things to go to the NC game but as we all know got taken out by Pitt.  With our schedule and history - or lack there of - the best we can hope for is a BCS bowl game by wining the BE.

Oh and I love ESPN.  Chris Burman is still the best -

Jerk Turdstreit strikes again.  Did anyone remind him that Ohio State is a joke and the BCS should ban Ohio State from the National Title game?

However, if UF had two losses and did not win their conference championship, somehow the voters would find a way to nullify the computer polls and put UF in the title game.  After that they would all get on their knees and huff on Tebow's dong like it was a fine imported Cuban cigar.

The championship is supposed to be about the best team in football, not a popularity contest.  An undefeated team out trumps a one loss team anyday.

Another reason that the NCAA needs a playoff for D-1A football.
