What a waste of a roster spot.  0-4, only makes the team worse.  They don't need a cheerleader anymore, they need a hitter and they can go get bay or nady, oh wait.  Retard friedman blew that opportunity.

Time to castrate gomes and friedman.

Maybe the bucs won't let tampa bay down like the rays are about to do.

arent rays still in first place

Yep!!

Gomes might not be the best major league player right now, but I'll bet he hits a 95 mph better than you do.

I wasn't comparing myself to gomes, I was comparing baseball players to gomes you retard.

Brilliant.

We have very little to worry about the Yankees.  They are currently 5.5 games back and only have 50 games remaining.  If they go 30-20 in those games, the Rays would only have to finish the season 26-25 to hold them off.  Considering the Yankees have left:  6 games AT LAA, 3 games AT Minn, 6 games against the Rays and Bosox (with 3 each away), another 3 AT Texas, and 3 against the White Sox.....its highly unlikely that they are even able to achieve the 30-20....

I have to admit, that's a good post.  (no further comment on this one)

I can't wait to hear the excuses this time.  Let me guess:

"But he's young, it's ok"

"But look at his amazing ERA!"

"But we still won the game so it doesn't matter"

"But he's still our ace."

"But why are you complaining, we're in first"

Time to bring up Price!  kazmir is terrible!

I wouldn't say he's terrible overall, but he has been terrible lately.  Without looking at the stats, I think he only has 1 win and maybe 2 QS's in his last 7 or 8 games.  I'm starting to wonder if something is wrong with him physically.  If it's not that, then something else must be bothering him.  Hope he figures it out soon cause we need him.

I'd say more mental.  He needs to just pitch for contact.  He tries to strike everyone out and ends up walking them instead.  I mean, almost every batter he throws to gets a first pitch ball then he gets behind in the count.  Just throw freaking strikes.  Major league pitchers should be able to do that.

I say we trade him to the Nationals for Elijah Dukes. Both will clear waivers because Dukes is a head case and Kaz sucks so it should be doable ...

His slider is dead lately, which is typical if you've got an elbow injury, since the slider stresses the elbow more than the fastball or change up.

My bet is he's hurt and playing through it.
