Well, for starters, Maddon is the field manager not the general manager.  This is a general manager decision. 

Secondly, while I'm sure you have consulted Rocco's doctors, trainers and the team scouts that watched Rocco play I'll go ahead and give Rays management the benefit of the doubt for the time being.

LOL ....... Can you at least wait until they string together a couple of losses before making an incredibly clueless statement like that? One loss following 5 game winning streak doesnt measure up to "losing" ..... Wait, you did know they actually won five games in a row, didn't you?? Sometimes when I read yours and Singa's post I get the impression you really don't follow the team that closely and you may not have been aware of their winning streak.

You can't get content, that's the problem.  If they would have lost to a team like the angels or the twins, it would have been ok.  But the indians are one of the worst teams in the league and they are 0-5 against them.
