Safe hotel locations for FIU

FIU=no safe area!  the everglades would be the safest place to stay.  rent an airboat and stock up on mosquito repellent.  I would suggest "OFF". it works really well!

The wildlife is also a plus!  safes the cost of taking the kids to the zoo!

You people who think Miami is some "scary place full of lawlessness and murder" are the stupidest backwoods morons alive.  Are you scared of a few brown skinned Cuban Americans who only speak Spanish?  Better get used to it, because minorities will outnumber whites in the USA by 2042.

Most of Miami is very civilized and safe, in fact Miami probably has more civilized safe areas than Tampa.

It is funny how someone wants the location of FIU so they can Google it.  Ever think of using Google to find the location of FIU?  Jebus, some of you people do not deserve computers.  This link here took me all but 20 seconds to find via Google -> Google Map of FIU Stadium

If you are not looking for a cheap hotel, then stay near South Beach where you can walk or taxi to the night life.  Trust me, Miami's night life makes Tampa's night life look like two rednecks in a hog slapping contest.

Miami is flat out one of the nastiest and rudest areas in all of America!

I booked the Courtyard at Dolphin Mall as well. If you want to stay at really nice hotel for a extremely reasonable price, check out the mayfair hotel in the grove. I think its going for like 159 a night. It's in the heart of the grove and about 50 bars.

We're staying at the Indigo Hotel with a ton of USF ppl.  Hopefully that's around something!

We are staying there, too.  We are flying in Friday morning, as I imagine many are.  I wonder if we should organize a Bulls Friday Night at the Indigo?  I think I will start a new post and see how many are going to be there Friday night and would be interested.
