Depends on how much you are looking to spend and how close you want to be from FIU campus/the Stadium.  If you are looking to go expensive there are hotels farther away towards the Ft Lauderdale are like The Yankee Clipper or the other Yankee Trader hotel, both ran by Sheratons I believe and they are in Ft Lauderdale, also the Weston Diplomat in Hallandale and Hollywood Hardrock Hotel and Casino, these are of course farther away and a little more pricy.  Towards the stadium/campus you have a Comfort Inn on Bird Rd which is right off of the Turnpike and literally 2 minutes (not even) away from the stadium/FIU campus and a little bit farther up in the Doral area also off the turnpike is a Hampton Inn.  So it all depends on how close you want to be from the stadium/campus as well as $$$ you want to spend.
