I wonder if Charlie Strong's presence isn't as great as anticipated?

He's lost 2 significant FL players in Wilson and Chandler so far on signing day.

Because a smart kid realizes that USF isn't Texas, Alabama or Florida and isn't winning a national championship anytime soon.  UCF gives kids an earlier chance to play and better connections to the NFL. 

UCF was one of only six schools with multiple Pro Bowl players.

Strong still did great, you do have to remember his location is Louisville, Kentucky!

Kudos to UCF for stealing good lineman from a team we play every year. We still aren't gonna play you, but good job!

why would any kid pick UCF over USF?

Great location, academics are pretty good, nice campus, nice facilities, chance to play with his high school teammates, immediate playing time.

Until you start winning your conference...your bowl appearances look no different than ours.

Tv is pretty much the same

so the only difference is you can tell your kids "you'll get to play west Virginia, uconn and rutgers" instead of "ecu Houston and southen miss"

Maybe better teams, but doesn't exactly scream "wow, can I can I"

So I'm not sure where the confusion is...you know, misplaced egos aside of course...

Also i thought Andre Hall had a few ounces of talent even though he didn't sign to a BCS school

except we typically win ours and have one every year  ;)
