honestly the only people that are complaining are the old alumni. Why cant you just let us have our fun? I was sitting right behind the four dudes that had the flamingos and i thought it was great. Its not original, its just fun.

Yeah i'm not an alumni and i dont think it should continue past the season. We dont play Auburn every year! Maybe if we ever sign another deal with them, the pink flamingo thing will be some thing to do during a season that we beat them. Until then...

i hate the idea of pink flamingos and i graduated in 2005.  I am 25 years old so i am not "old" by any standards.

its just stupid.  has nothing to do with our university and its clearly just some students continuing quest to be shown on TV.  seems like that is the only reason some of these kids show up.

I don't particularly like it, but, I also think that this is not right either.  This is how stadium traditions get created.  It is the wacky students doing something to get noticed, or fire up the crowds that twenty years later is looked forward to by the current fans.  Things like ringing of a bell, rattling keys, chomps, throwing horns, "2 bits", even that annoying thing the WVU hillbillies did on first downs. 

We see them as goofy, but I also think it would be funny if 20 years from now we have traditions that start now.  Not by the school proper, but from the fans.  Like calling out First Down Bulls, or even, flamingos showing up.
