St. Louis may very well be in the same boat. I seem to remember a whole lot of Bulls fans saying that about one Andre Hall last year.I have it on good sources Andre's issues w/the NFL r purly mental and playbook retention. Why would this award be all that much different? It's not like LB recruits don't know who will be coaching them here at USF, we'll get our share and SN will show them what they missed. Actually most heisman winners usually see at least a few years in the NFL. The only exception is the QB position, where it is rare. Even so, Carson Palmer at least broke that trend. Jury is still out on leinart, although it's really hard to judge a hapless guy drafted by the cardinals. While most heisman winners ARE a bit overrated for the NFL, most have decent contributions. Hell, even the overrated ron dayne has contributed to teams he's ben on.I'm fairly certain that Nicholas gets drafted top 4 rounds. Kiper has him as 13th best LB or something preseason. IIRC, that would put him about 3rd round.
