Why is everyone projecting Tulane an L but Memphis a W? Memphis could easily be top 25 this year and Tulane lost their coach and a few key players.

Completely agree...Memphis is the only other AAC team with a QB close to Byrum's talent level.  Tulane is the most difficult conference road game on paper, right now anyway.

I'm guessing those that predict that way are basing it strictly on Away vs Home game ...... Tulane loses head coach and starting qb, while Henigan is the real deal at Memphis.

All are winnable. Some (Bama, Miami, and Memphis) are much tougher than others. I really want to return the favor to UAB and FAU. Those were very embarrassing losses.

Is Rice supposed to be good? That's interesting. UAB and FAU blew us out last year and those are labeled as W's?

Nonsense

  • Quotes

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

    Terry Lucas, 09/26/22
