I don't think this team is ready for the big games yet. Unless we see stunning improvements on defense, this is an 8-4 ceiling EDIT: 9-win ceiling but likely 8-4, with a few matchups that I would reevaluate in pre-season fall practice because it's way early:

• FAU - I see us pulling a tricky win here.
• UAB - I need to read more about UAB - that was a very weird game last year USF looked uninspired.
• Memphis - as always, they're going to be really good, but this feels like a chaotic game in the making.
• Miami - I give us a 20% chance, but it's just too early to understand how bad Miami is this year vs. how our offense manages to stay together against a tougher opponent like Bama. If we faceplant against Bama, Miami is going to destroy this team.
