I'm surprised this didn't happen a long time ago. The WBB teams are always competitive or ranked.

He loves Tampa and considers this his program. When the UF position opened up years ago he had no interest in leaving. This being in Miami could make a difference. And as I said before the NIL situation here is frustrating.

I get that he’s from Miami, but it horrible to live down there. Great to visit and party but it’s not a great place to live in my opinion. Back when he was growing up it was way different then now. We will see I guess.

Depends if you can afford to live in Coral Gables or some of the nicer areas  of Miami it is nice which he would be able to easily afford .

Also depends on other unknown (to us) factors, such as an ailing parent or other family member that he wants to be closer to. Maybe the place that sells the best bourbon is located in Miami.

Good fishing on the Atlantic side. CJF is a big fisherman. Florida keys are right there too.

The thing that matters most though is Colado one every corner or la-ventanita.

I wonder if he prefers Tampa or Miami Cuban sandwiches? 😎

Seriously, though, I don't think I can even imagine USF women's hoops without Jose at the helm. Hope we don't lose him to the fighting Ibis.
