UABs defense was giving us fits and they dominated rebounds.  Not sure why we would just chuck the contested 3s.

You mean UAB, the team that has 30 postseason appearances (including 16 NCAA tournament appearances) in the 46 years of their program.

UAB just wasn't a good matchup for us. They were way more physical and pressured us more than I've seen other teams. We don't seem to play that well. Crazy thing is we tied it and then a bunch of stupid emotional fouls let them pull away.

You must have him confused with someone else. He hit 3 3s in this tournament and came in to this game with a 39% average, which is good for the third best percentage on the team and the highest of his career.

He showed enough. He was splitting time with Reid and was trying to play unselfish ball. In a post-game presser last week, CAAR stated that much. He said that Placer had the green light to shoot whenever he wanted at his previous school and made the sacrifice to be a part of what CAAR was doing. There were many occasions in many games throughout the year where he was open and passed the ball instead of taking the shot.
