The rules say that you only step out on that ledge to get more P5 teams in, it’s the first rule

Key there is that the First Four Out get home games in the NIT first round ..... don't know how that works if one of the FFO is also one of the P6 AQ's.

So we're one of the top 76 in the country according to this? I get the auto qualifier stuff. Just irks me that FAU will probably go after we beat them head to head, had a better conference record and went out the same round of the conf tournament to a higher ranked opponent.

Maybe the non P6 conferences should just play an ooc schedule and then go straight to a triple elimination tournament, seeding alphabetically, since the reg season is basically meaningless at this level ....

Yeah, I don’t totally understand how this works. Can somebody explain to me why they are in but we are not?
