They beat ranked Texas A&M in November and ranked Arizona in December. Apparently that’s all that mattered, because none of the other metrics say they had a better season than we did. And have to wonder if they are in this year if they weren’t a Final Four team last year.

Need to set up a bracket buster with the A10 or MW next year get some OCC Quad 1 matchups  the comish should work on this would be good for both conferences

The MW doesn't need that. Apparently they're scheduling ooc just fine. I think the only way to get a decent ooc sched is to go after P6 games, where their bloated rankings can help us ....... most of the time. Thanks, FSU.

Personally I don't feel aggrieved. Do we deserve a spot. Yes!  But other teams can probably make that case as well.  However, I understand that we did not get in due to our poor start, weak OOC, and the fact that we lost two of our last three games, including the last one with double digits. It is what it is. Next year we can hopefully do better.

I'm not clear how all this works but it seems that instead of losing to CMU, Mass and whomever, had we lost by 40 to Duke, Kentucky and UNC we'd be in the tournament?

MW was a long shot but the A10 makes sense or MVC
