Had 0 expectations coming into the season and was pretty much checked out on USF basketball. Might be controversial, but I think this is is the best USF team I have ever seen (didn’t follow before 2008). The 2012 run was fun but this team was more impressive. 

The 2012 team won not only our first ever Tournament game but won 2.

Its not even a contest. That 2012 is the best team in USF history.

Kinda but the play-in game is pretty iffy as a tournament win in my eyes. I just count it as a single win. 
 

I think this team is more fun and likely better. I also would reserve judgement. If the win the NIT then this is easily the best team.

With FAU going down to Temple, we are definitely NIT bound at this point. 

On the bright side, we actually have a shot to win that thing. On the flip side, does anyone care about the NIT?

So they’re telling us FAU gets an at-large based on two wins in 2023 (with losses to FGCU and Bryant) and we’re out based on two losses in 2023? FAU lost five times in league play to our three AND lost to us head-to-head. They’re in based on beating Texas A&M in November and Arizona in December. Nothing after that mattered. Hmmm
