We need to go ahead and at least match Penny hardaway’s contract to 2.5 million or at least 2 million a year. 
At the end of the day it’s a business and the way that you show if you care is by paying more.If a decent power 5 school offers him 2 or 3 million a year he would be dumb not to take it and he’s a smart guy,so we need to get ahead of the game.

Basketball is easier to sell out with success at the stadium. That helps keep a coach with that environment. We need it for cag so some early success would probably take a 6-1 start to see the fans pack ray jay but i just feel the push to become elite from these two and im all in on the vibe usf is giving off and i hope they pay them and keep them!

Only way you do something like that is if we we get to the Final Four. It's been a great year and CAAR seems like the real deal but you need more of a body of work here before you jump like that ..... although I don't even know what he makes now to know how big a jump that would be.
