They are really average for the AAC this year. They lack the big inside presence they had past few years. They don’t have anyone to really drive the ball in and score and the only outside shooter is Blasigh.

They’re a championship-caliber team with Sammie but just middle of the pack without her. Expected Carla and Dani to make the usual jump forward from freshman to sophomore year that so many have under Jose, but that’s not happening. We’d be a different team if they did, but Carla has zero confidence at this point and Dani seems to rush everything. And I see now why Jose plays Ariel so many minutes as opposed to Marina. The offense just completely stagnates and the ball doesn’t move when Marina is at PG.

That 2 year old tape? If you're going to try and make a point about her THIS year, would probably be best to show some tape of all her game minutes this year and not just the highlights. CJF hasn't been lobotomized. There's a reason someone's taking minutes away from her ....

Pretty sure we can find highlight reels for most any player. And none of these shots are against anywhere near the defense that the women are playing against now. But, I do agree that she should get a lot more playing time than Wilson. On offense we're playing 2 on 5 most of the time and defenses don't even care that Wilson is out there.

Ariel should shoot the ball just to keep them honest and she has made a couple threes the past two games. At this point, I’d rather see her shoot the ball than Carla or Dani.

Absolutely! There are probably 6 or 7 times every game where the defense pretty much ignores her and tries to block the passing lanes. She's got wide open shots. I think that's one of the reasons we struggle so much to get the ball inside.
