Just back from the game.  Fun time, yet nervous at the end.  This is a game we would have lost in the last 4-5 minutes the last few years.  IF we could consistently hit free throws, layups, short put backs and dunks, this would be a great team.  Pryor is key moving forward.

In the last six games, our team has averaged 85 points per game while allowing 72... hopefully we can keep this up through conference play.

That should be Gold Sea ..... and loved the uniforms tonight, although I'm sure there will be some grumblings about them.

they blended in with the court but I really did like them.

Agree with others that we would have lost this game in the past.  Lots of ball still to be played, but a good start to conference play.   The road game Sunday will be another test. 

Saw the Volleyball coach at the game. Briefly spoke with her, and congratulated her for a great season and turning that program around. Always good to see coaches/players from other sports at games. Also saw some WBB players at the game. After last night, I can only imagine what kind of practice they had today…

Also saw and spoke briefly with Derrick Brooks (wearing a USF shirt) last night.  I believe that his daughter is on the softball team. Nice to see someone like him, with his credentials, supporting USF.

Maybe I’m being overly optimistic, but it seems like the university is on the upswing. AAU certification is a big deal IMO, and most sports (especially football and MBB) are getting better. We’ll see what happens with the spring sports, but things are looking good.
