There is money to be made if you research as well, makes watching even that much more entertaining. I agree though, it means nothing unless you win 45-0, then to me it was a playoff game. They are as indicative as any other game of the season IMO. How good a team is is not determined from the result of a single game, but the culmination of the season and the visual and statistical growth that occurs throughout the year, hopefully resulting in increased program awareness and subsequent higher level recruiting.
