I am feeling 10-3 maybe way too optimistic but hell why not.  We don’t beat Bama, we probably don’t beat the u, however we only lose one conference game and we play and win the crown.  Trips is arrested for streaking midfield at our inaugural AAC title game, and PUC changes his original stance and makes a 6 figure donation to the OCS.

If this is the case, we could make the playoffs, and maybe even ranked. 👀

I also thought Charlie Strong was a good hire so take that prediction with a grain of salt.

I'd like to see 8+ wins.

I know what I WANT to see... us play for a championship

The reality is Cuse was down this game, no coach no QB and yes we took care of our business I am not taking away from that. But Memphis will not roll over so easily next year. If UAB/Fau improve they'll continue to put up a fight. If we get in our own heads like we did this year...

My preduction is we will be in the mix and I'll leave it at that.

Increase of 33% in the total number of wins compared to '23. Finish with a Win in (hopefully) a bowl game that requires checked bags and boarding passes. :iconic_u_black:

The toughest teams we will face is Alabama, Miami and Memphis. I refuse to be scared of a Tulane team that lost its starting QB and coach. Year 1 will be rough. Miami will have a new QB as well. So while that QB is getting settled in, we have a chance. Memphis is good, but their defense sucked bad. We put 583 yds of offense on them and almost beat them this year. to my understanding we might be able to get Vaughn, Hickman, Shuler And Ross back for another year in addition to the stud JUCO DE Pettus and transfer Obi Ezeigbo. If we can get a few more CBs, DBs and Safeties we will be ok. We redshirted most of our freshman speedsters this year, but I feel they will be ready in 2024. Next year is going to be nice. As much as i like the transfer portal it feels good not having to add 10-15 transfers to our team for once.

Not a bad assessment. I do think we can pull off Miami and Tulane. I don't know about Memphis.

The other side of the coin is not losing games that we should win.

I would say 8 wins baseline, 10 wins optimistic - not including conf champ

Miami is not exactly a great team and our guys are going to be fired up.
