I would agree. We had a light schedule and took advantage of it this year. That being said this program is light years ahead of where it was last year. I think we are finally going in the right direction. I think this could be a 8 win team next year, with a much tougher schedule than this year.

Agreed, offense a smidge above average, Defense is way below average, poor schedule got us to average.  It is not where we are but where we are going, trajectory is up and optimism has returned.  We have been bad for so long average feels fantastic.

It really does feel great to be average, odd as that sounds.  I suppose because there is hope where there wasn't any for a good while.  It really is exciting to see all these steps forward, even if we are not yet where we want to be.

Beating an ACC team in a bowl game in year one while developing our first QB1 since Flowers that can produce and carry the team to victory would be incredible for Golesh and USF FOOTBALL.

We're average in a below average conference.  No one is getting out with that.

However, if you can be realistic enough to enjoy average, prepare yourself for "elite" and the spoils that will follow.
