We are no longer playing UTSA, and 3 other opponents that were originally scheduled.

Oops, I didn't mean to put usta. You're right. I meant Tulane.

The most important thing about the schedule is that I'll be heading north to Charlotte, while my oldest amigo from high school will be driving south. He graduated from UNCC and retired from the Department of the Navy last year.  Last time we got together for a football game was when we played Carolina back in '06. :iconic_u_black:

VPMK mentioned there would be more changes than just one game because of travel restrictions particularly on Army's part. It was in a Bull Speed Ahead can't remember which one. I would have liked a clean swap!

Now playing UAB, Tulane, and Memphis. Only negative not playing UTSA. We knew we were no longer playing SMU.

Much more interesting and competitive schedule than before.

I do remember hearing that. I guess I didn't see half of our schedule being impacted.

Navy wasn't scheduled to play SMU next season, so the easiest thing would have been to have Army pick SMU's schedule, which would have had them coming to Tampa.

Dilfer is going to bring sick kids here and punch everyone.  But he has had a tendency to suck in Bucaneer stadiums.

What will UTSA look like next year? Wasn’t half that team sixth-year cats? Seems like they’d be looking at a big rebuild.

It will be intersting to see how they perform after losing a lot of super- covid seniors.

We definitely can't let UAB and FAU drop 56 on USF ever again. We better actually come for their throats next year and run the score up .

They lost their coach to Houston as well.

Did he take the job? I thought Tulane's coach took the job.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
