Just ordered some bowl game tix through USF. Anyone know if & when the USF sponsored tailgate party will be available? Also what are the team hotels and best places to stay? For travel does the Amtrak stop there? Any good flights from Tampa? May end up driving if I can’t get a good deal on train or plane. Thanks.

I love Florida, but I miss the Florida I grew  up in full of ranches and orange groves. My friends and I me got to experience so much outdoors daily that this younger generation never will.  I qm luck

I just booked $70 R/T on Spirit flying into FLL Thursday morning and back early Friday morning. Just a backpack needed. Getting a car through Turo for $50. Booked the Fairfield Boca, closest to the stadium, for $139 through the bowl website. My buddy is a Syracuse grad, so we will enjoy the short trip for under $275 total including the flight, car, hotel, game ticket, and tailgate.

Going to look into details tomorrow.  Considering a round trip driving there and back same day from Tampa area, but might snag a hotel if price is right.

Booked the Hampton Inn a few miles from the stadium for Thursday night.  Heading up early Thurs and back Friday.

Our group is staying at the Hampton too.  Not a bad price at $150 or so

Got my tix and also booked at the Fairfield.  Was hoping to walk to stadium for tailgate with a few Boca friends but it would actually take 40 minutes to walk all the way around the airport.  That would be a long walk back at midnight so they can pick us up and drop us off!

This bowl's website is horrible.  Very limited information and any details about parking, events, etc. are from previous years.  ESPN Ventures just seems to update the copyright and the press releases.
