We need to protect him better. He should not be charging head down into linebackers

Definitely.  I am sure he has been coached on protecting himself, but I imagine that youthful feeling of invulnerability takes over at times.

This.  The chances are he doesn't go anywhere.  Very few of the qb transfers last season were from the g5 up to the p5.  It's a big step up and he's playing for a great offensive minded head coach

Hopefully be stays but if he goes I’m sure CAG will be able to find replacements for his system. I’m always a big believer in how the coaching staff operates and should be able to continue to play In players to get the job done.

And then this.    We will be fine

Golesh knows how to find a qb and develop him. Hooker took a huge step forward in year 2 under Golesh and I expect the same from Brown. Pratt didn't leave Tulane so there is hope to keep Brown.

I would show him:

1. Weaver and Horn.  Early season standouts but STILL not bowling.

2. Battie.  Fell flat off high hopes at Auburn.  Believe he had an injury off-season though.

Haven't followed what NIL they may got, but grass is not always greener.

He's got to stop doing that. On the targeting call against Charlotte, I was concerned it was going to go against BB ...

Just a guy feeling that he stays. Have had the chance to talk to him a few times and he seems to love this place. That said, $$$$ can change anything I guess.

I think 2 of the top 50 qb transfers last offseason moved up and one of those was Sanders following his father to Colorado.  Anything could happen, but I wouldn't count on him leaving

What are the chances he transfers out? I mean, I know that the whole country will be trying to sway him to join their teams, but how loyal is Byrum?

he is gone unless someone pays him to stay

i dont blame him

usf is a feeder school for the bog boys

if he was on alabama they would win a national championship with him

I think he stays. This team should be a top 25 team within the next two years. He is the guy at USF. Going to a Power 5 school can be tricky since you have to start from zero.

Of course it depends on the NIL money as well. He is really the only player besides Atkins on offense who performed as a top player throughout the season .A good chunk of the NIL money USF has assembled should be going to him. Power 5 schools usually divide up the NIL money among many players. Have a system at USF that if you play well you can make a descent amount of NIL money at USF the following season.

He has certainly earned it.

Same with Atkins

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.

“In my mind, I’m kind of like, ‘OK, excuses over'. We know what we need to do. We’ve got the right team together, and now we move forward, and we’ll evaluate and be accountable to each other, including myself, from this point forward.”
