One of the greatest turnarounds in CFB history, 1-11 USF still on pace to go to a Bowl

I know the last two weeks sucked. Too much hype, talking about running the table. 

Our path to 6 wins continues with a win over UConn this weekend. 

We aren't a good team yet, but we aren't a horrible team any more either. 

Good recruiting, things are looking up overall. Anyone who lived through the last 3 years would be wise to stick this out, as I think we can see the light on the other end of the tunnel that we have been in for too long already.

Giving up 50+ points to FAU and UAB...unfortunately we are a bad team these past 2 weeks. 

Hopefully Golesh figures why they are playing worse now and makes adjustments and any win vs Uconn be huge for team.

There will be light at the end if the tunnel if we beat UConn.  If not then are going streaking in the direction you don't want to. Lets see if the coaches have it in them to make adjustments to their struggling  offense and defense to be ready to beat uconn. They did it for navy and Rice but failed to for fau and uab.

I'm on board with the notion that getting back to bowl eligibility is doable and would be great progress, but wouldn't go so far as calling that one of the greatest turnarounds in CFB history if it comes to past. Not even in the conversation, IMO. Hell, Connecticut went from 2 wins, to 1 win, to 6 wins last year and no one is calling that one of the best turnarounds in history. Probably happened a dozen or more times in the past decade.

Fair enough. 

For perspective, our biggest win gain year over year was +4 (Willie Taggart went from 4 to 8 wins). So if we get to a bowl game, it will be our best year over year win gain in our history.
