I'm doing my part.  I was up in Wichita a couple of years ago and was at a grocery store.  Down the aisle comes a lady and her big teenage son.  I asked him if he was a lineman at the HS and he said he was.  I asked him, what do you think of palm trees?  You ever seen one up close? Florida is a great place for spending your college years and went on to tell him about USF football (I had a USF shirt on).  He had a wide grin when I left.  I didn't look at mama's face, though.

I can't believe that these corn-fed kids who grew up around four feet of snow each year wouldn't beat feet down to Florida at the first chance.  Bikini season in the upper midwest is what, three weeks?

Oh great. An NCAA violation and now we'll be on probation and not get to play in our bowl game this year.   😎

Wasn't a booster, so it's OK.

To go 6-0, rinse and repeat.

Yep, big guys are the No. 1 priority - then some guys with wiggle at RB and WR, and throw in a DE or OLB who can really rush the passer and a corner who can cover one-on-one.

OL and DL are also the hardest to recruit.  The best players go on to P5 schools so the ability to identify diamond in the roughs is key, see George Selvie.  Also, player development is huge with the big guys in the trenches.  I like KP, however, I’m not sure what to make of Doogie Howser as the OL coach.

I’m with you. Not sure about o-line coach or OC.
