I'm happy we finally have an Orlando at USF who knows how to do his job because Antigua was terrible.

Défense was great. Reminded me to back in the day to when we were still in the Big East.

Now the team needs to built on it and bring the same energy no matter who we play; starting with Rice. Can't be like last year where we almost beat Cincy or Florida and then the next week having Temple score 50 on us.

Absolutely the best defensive performance since Leavitt.

I hate losing.  We're still on a horrible FBS losing streak.  I have little faith in our ability to score and win games...but good god that defense was something tonight and made me feel nice.

Today's defense was great, but I am still in wait and see mode to see whether we can do what we did today, and bring the same intensity and energy when we are playing Rice next week, and the week following that.

No doubt the talent (both coaching and players) is there to be much better defensively then we were in the past 3 years.

I am just not going to  rate a hire on one game

But yes today was great to watch, and more hopeful now then I was a week ago

I'm thinking it was the coaching.  Remember last year guys were always out of position and didn't know what they were doing.  These guys have pride and DC is dialing up plays to help them.
