Comparing the size of USF's Offensive & Defensive line with Alabama

Alabama's Offensive line is HUGE, but I went over their forums after they lost to Texas and they were complaining about how slow the offensive line is. I think we have the same issue with our offensive line which might be the reason our pass blocking sucks. But size-wise, there is a little over a 100 Ib difference in our starting O-line and D-line lineups. So they aren't that much bigger.....now when we match up our D-line to their offensive line there is a 373 Ib difference. We definitely need to use speed and skills against this group. Good thing is that our offensive line is bigger than their defensive line....but giving up 6 sacks to an FCS school makes me scared to see what Ala can do. 

Note: I added Jacquez Williams as Cheney's backup. I'm sure Bernard Gooden can ball, but I hope they don't put a 260 Ib man at DT against Alabama. And WTF man? Why is Alabama's team so big?! lol

Yes they have a huge O line but the big guys look slow on passing downs like said......hopefully our  undersized DL can cause them issues on passing downs. 

Thats way bigger than the Bucs O line for comparison.

For sure.  Wonder what they looked like coming out of high school.  One of the 360 lb'ers is a FR!

No doubt they get some of the highest rated biggest boys before they come there. It isn't an apples to apples comparison as I know you are aware. That big boy was a 99 rated 5 star and number one OT and IA in the national. Goach does have better sized offensive linemen this year and hopefully we can keep getting bigger and highly rated linemen. I just don't think any of the our true freshmen are anywhere near game ready on the offensive line.
