Some on this board need to slow their roll a little and think about what the game would have looked like had Jeff Scott been at the helm

1) The first offensive series would have been a 3 and out

2) We would have been down 2+ touchdowns before we achieved a first down

3) We would have been down 3+ touchdowns before the offense crossed midfield

4) We would have been down 4+ touchdowns at the half

5) We would have been down 5+ touchdowns before we did anything offensively, scoring some garbage points against WKU’s second string

6) There would have been multiple defensive plays where a WKU receiver/running back ping ponded off USF players for long gains due to bad tackling

7) We would have kicked at least one 4th quarter, 4th and short red zone field goal while being down double digits

Yes, the game was not perfect, but there were more glimpses of hope yesterday than i have seen in 5 years

WKU punted 6 times we had multiple games last year opposing teams didn't even punt.

I for sure saw some good things and things that can be corrected, just keep improving as a team and the wins will start to come.

USF probably gets smoked by WKU 64-12 if CJS is still around

Who cares? He’s gone. A better loss is still a loss. Look I’m 100% pro USF and I will support CAG but this drivel of the loss would have been worse? Come on. It’s time to win and move on from the past.

Scott had alot of close losses. UF and Vincy come to mind. Nothing was done yesterday that Scott did not "achieve"

Scott won many “halfs”.  Problem is football is 60 minutes not 30.  Yesterday we didn’t play 60 either.  I do like that we got some key defensive stops.  That was an improvement.

lol you're comparing 3 years to 1 game

we lost because our redshirt freshman qb turned the ball over 3 times and their graduate student qb who won a div 2 championship and had 40 td passes for wku last year did not turn it over.

Looking at the past is as relevant as saying that CAG is a failed head coach because he lost his first game as a 2 touchdown underdog

Not true. CAG got through the entire postgame presser without mentioning Clemson. Pretty sure CJS never achieved that.
