Don’t make no nevermind to me, really.  But it is a rather worthless effort. I just hope we can get back to the days when a depth chart is of no consequence because we already know who our best guys are.

Back in day the name on the front meant more than the name on the back.  At least that is what coach used to tell us before he made us skate and run extra laps after practice. Updated the depth chart confuse the other team.

At least he has a QB as the holder.  Gives you more options for faking kicks.  Otherwise this depth chart is a waste of time.

Given the massive turnover, I doubt it does much to hide anything from WKU. They have really nothing on this team either way.  But a bit of gamesmanship, for sure.

But there is another way to look at it.  What I see is the guys they expect to play this year.  And the ORs indicate players they value, whether now or in future years.  Doesn't hurt to compliment your #4 QB that you would like to keep around for 5 years.

Could just be stressing to the entire team that no one is permanently in a starter position yet.  Keeping the competition up. Unorthodox, but that is what is probably needed starting out with everything new.

This depth chart is the kind of clown shoes I would expect from a program that's won like 4-5 games in the last 3 years.
