Best case:  We win the PAC-ACC-AAC-MW conference championship and get a bye in the National Championship game.

Worst case:  My fears are realized.

Would that necessarily, in the grand scheme of things, be such a bad thing? 🤔

Sometimes I will say or do things to get the reverse jinx in favor of the team.

Best case 9-3 (6-2) Losses AL, Mem, UTSA

Worst case 3-9 (2-6) Wins FAMU and two of Char, Temple and Rice.

My gut tells me 5-7, BUT, it is very possible that CJS was 90% of the problem and CAG will coach up the good talent we actually have. There’s a good chance that we are overlooked and we can win a few before people adjust. I think our best case is 9-3.

We had the talent t to win last year and the year before. ALL. On lost minded coaching.

This is true.  You make an excellent point.

My line of thinkin' is that FAMU, Rice & Charlotte are doable. Next would probably be Temple to get to four wins. Which, interestingly, would be four times the number of wins from last season. That fifth win...what would that be? UAB? Navy?  I dunno. I think four wins would be pretty dang good. 🤨

Best case scenario we win a conference title and goach is gone  to a power progam

Worst case scenario we keep  up the culture  shift over the last five seasons and winning expectations spearheaded by Michael Kelley and we are stuck with him in the bottom of the aac having another inexperienced coach .

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
