He’s an active, intense, in-your-face type of leader. Heard him drop quire a few f-bombs, and was quick to get in a player’s face when they did something wrong. He would have been a good drill sergeant… I didn’t see the same leadership style from CJS. There was some USF Athletics booster event a couple of years ago at the Pepin ballroom. CJS spoke/rambled on for 45 minutes about stuff - he lost me. If that is how he talked to his players, then he probably lost them also. Not a knock on CJS; I heard from athletics staff that he did everything right - except win. I have no idea if CAG’s leadership style will translate into wins, but I like what I saw yesterday, and something had to change. Hoping for better days ahead!
