I didn’t even expect to compete in this game…we should still win about 5 games…we are much better in D than last year…the o will be there…

in this age of transfers you cant turn it around in one season

We won't be undefeated this year.  Bummer!  No turnovers for the defense. And conversely our turnovers were killers.  We had a chance to win even in the fourth quarter.   I'm trying to find the silver linings.

Despite playing like ass we were in this game in the 4th quarter before it fell apart. 

Offense needs to get more creative it was boring actually I did expect more from CAG in that regard. When they were creative they moved the ball what a shocker.

There were a few. WKU was 9-5 and generally considered a decent team. We did well to hang in there despite all the head winds. The final score seems worse than the game really was. We need some conditioning, mental fortitude, and the right personnel on offense. We were a couple plays away from flipping this game. No moral victories, but it’s not like we were dominated by Mcneese

I'm trying to think if the defense was that much better or if I'm just wanting it to be.

They were down their 2 top WRs for stretches of the game, had multiple drops and Reed over threw a few passes and didn't seem quite in sync. We had "some" pressure, but the it didnt feel like we were harassing Reed. Felt good being somewhat in the game in the 4th quarter.

I’m not sure if that is ex coach hang over, where the guys are ok with collapsing. Or if that is depth/conditioning. Either way we need to fix that
