When talking conference expansion, I prefer to shy away from conference championships talk if any way possible ...

Well you fellas know this, Colorado football wasn't in a top BCS-type conference in Year 8 of its existence.   They took the long road and have been around 130 or so years.  I also think they got all the stupid ideas out of their head early, kinda like we did (hopefully).

Let me do the math. Started football in 1996, add 130 years. Yep, I might be dust by then. I'm already old enough that I'm farting dust.

The Buffs actually got into a major conference after about 60 years so there's still some hope for you ....
