I am not sure where you have been, but the AAC has been a P6 conference for years (at least in Aresco’s delusional world)

the "power" no one respects or cares about except Aresco. He really muffed the punt adding Rice, FAU, Charlotte, NT, and UAB. UTSA was a good addition. I would have personally only preferred UTSA and Liberty. It maybe beneficial for USF to play some lesser opponents to start to experience winning again and build their confidence back up.

Do you think all those teams were added without checking with the university presidents and ADs?  Can't blame any one person for this.

Agreed!

Have to think the future was looked at as to why so many teams were added.

It doesn't matter their athletic programs don't move the aac  forward. We added one  team that has been ranked in the top 25 program and lost 3. Conference contracts are given based on the product on the field mostly football .

It's always easier to blame just one person, justifiable or not ....

The big12 took back an old member to get on  and cash in on the hype train fueled by Primetime. It is a win win.  The b12 is losing their bigger audiences in Okalahoma and Texas. Do you think the next b12 contract offer without Texas and Oklahoma will  be the same?

So there are, and have been, other reasons for conference contracts being given other than football. Thanks for admitting you were wrong ....

Power to power alignment is a whole different ball game than g5 to power realignment. You got to win to move up .

I would add Maryland and Pittsburgh to that as well.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
