I never want to hear again what great connections MK has

I never want to hear on this board ever again what great connections MK has with the ACC or anyone else.  He doesn't.  Now we hear SMU may get into the ACC.  Where are these supposed connections MK has.  MK isn't doing ____ for us.  USF is never mentioned by any serious journalist with connections EVER for any major conference.  And don't tell me he is working behind the scenes.  Yeah, right.  None of the major journalists with connections to all the major players ever mention USF ever for any other conferences.  If you're being considered for something, it is ALWAYS leaked by someone.  This never happens with USF.  Every other school is mentioned as candidates except USF.  Facts.

I believe we have to wait for one of the FL teams to leave the ACC before we are considered.  Neither of them will support another FL school joining.

Well, maybe - just maybe - all of this USF conjecture about if FSU does this, and Miami does that and Stanford does the other thing is, nothing but wishful thinking. If you are not a USF fan, how do you look at the program and say, objectively, 'sure, USF is a value-added component' at this point in time. There's probably a very good reason why the only ones mentioning USF in relation to realignment is - us. It makes us feel good. It's a fun exercise. The alternative is to look back at how miserable the previous seasons have been or hope for improvement going forward. Sometimes just pondering winning the lottery is all there is. A necessary exercise.

At a certain point you just have to stop with the wishful pie in the sky thinking.  It ain't happening folks.  USF is what they are.  A mid major mid level AAC program that will always be a second tier program.  

Stop the pie in the sky thinking that MK is working some type of magic behind the scenes to get USF in the ACC, B12, B10 or SEC.  USF has no value to any of these conferences.

Not happening.  Not now, not ever.  What do you have to see to start accepting this???
