the tallest midget | Lark & Bloom

USF is currently among the shorter midgets. It might be the shortest. I envy the tall midgets.

Experts say academic profiles are a huge criterion when league presidents contemplate expansion.

Also posted this in the realignment thread. I anticipated some kind of article from Knight or Baker, but I expected it to say that AAU status won't help USF much in chasing a P5 invite. But here we are - an article expressing some hope for USF. Ain't that something?

Yes that is great to see. i do believe the university presidents have a lot of influence when it comes to conferences realignment so the AAU status can only help USF if there is another shift on the horizon. Think of it as a major conference needing another Florida school that is in a big market. We have FAU, FIU, USF available. The AAU status should set USF ahead of other candidates in Florida imo. We just need to start winning on the field and I believe things will happen.

The tallest midget means you're winning a lot plus making the playoffs every year ...... works for me.

That's right exactly.  Be thankful for the little things.  I know I am for mine.

I'm not looking for another college degree or new career so Id go w/ a Power conference over AAU.   I would like to see the improvements from the money and better players that would come w/ the power conference membership.

Heck yeah!! That is the idea. At least that is what I’m looking forward to when the new playoff formats begin. And yes I’m going to root for that 6 rated conference school just about every season.

Ironically, that was my older brother's favorite line.  Of course, he was married and divorced 7 times and is now deceased.

That is amazing, I have never heard of anyone being married 7 times, not sure what to make of that except he had to have a few screws loose but hid them well early on the relationship.
