Here are the weekly appearances by schools outside the P conferences. First the Four leaving for Big12 BYU 100, Cincinnati 92, UCF 54, Houston 51 The Rest still left outside Boise 165, Fresno 52, USF 47, Memphis 27, Coastal Carolina 24, Marshall 24, Northern Illinois 23 SMU 19, SDSU 18 Edited April 26, 2023 by Cubanbull 2

Really not hard to win here. Any school being able to say 80% of their coaches have appeared in the AP poll at the school would be impressive, let alone a G5 team. Here's to hoping Golesh can prove Scott to be an anomaly.

Boise has the #75 metro market in America. Bradenton is #70, Ft Myers is #77, and Lakeland is #80. Edited April 26, 2023 by bulloni

But if you look at classes they come from a large area out west and even out east so its not like they are that built on Boise local talent. But the avg class is ranked around 60s....shows good coaching can use that and make a solid team. We have the talent all around this area no doubt....we just need a coach that knows what he is doing and this program is back on the map pretty quick. Furthermore Coach Strong had a magical first season that ended with a bowl win against Texas Tech. Both ended up as failures for similar reasons (couldn't keep it going), but in the grand scheme of things both brought some success to USF. If you take away the last 3 years, we have been an above average team nationally since Leavitt was fired. There is zero reason that we can't get back to at least being ranked and going to bowl games. CJs was the worst fbs coach in our lifetimes. All we can do is hope Jeff lost was the outlier and not the product of Ad MK's vision for USF football . Tell me more. Well AD MK extended a one fbs coach and he failed even worse. He extended the whole athletic department and it seems they are all underperforming. I am still waiting for any modern fbs coach that is worse than 1-26 in FBS football. We had a proven winner interested in Herman and hired another first time HC with zero head coaching experience. I hope Golesh bucks the trend of losing if not AD should be fired. Edited April 27, 2023 by Outlaw
