There is plenty of talent available it is up to  Golesh and his crew to find out who fits their needs and get them here. SMU is really hitting the portal hard. We could follow their steps and use the portal to retool every year.

Like it has been said, ranking pander to the biggest fan bases. Even the star rankings are all skewed to favor the fan bases that pay for the recruiting services. The bottom line is that we need to have Golesh hardworking, dedicated kids that want to learn. The rest is on him and his staff to develop them. We don’t need the “4 or 5 star” kids. Just blue collar football players.

I will be very interested how Deion does without the overwhelming talent advantage. Not only that, but now he has to deal with P5 schools from N. Carolina, S. Carlina, Georgia, Florida, Cali, Texas, all more appealing geographically, and the traditional Power Houses like OSU, Alabama, LSU and ND. He is not going to be able to roll un and walk out with a W, he and his staff are going to be tested in the game planning department and the is the biggest question mark with him.

Yeah they will be getting multiple offers and weighing their options.

Curious to see how Colorado does with a lot of players only having fall practice to learn the system and gel.

Richard Johnson from Sports Illustrated said a Pac 12 coach told him even before all the players just left after their spring game they have by far the worst roster in the P5 right now. At the moment they only have 5 total defensive lineman and 1 is a true freshman. Teams are going to just run all over them.

Also him bringing in all this talent and declaring open competitions at every position except the one his son plays at is going to be a huge issue in that locker room if his son strings together a few mediocre performances.

Out of the top 50 rated college transfers only one went to a school that not a p5 school and the player went to SMU.

Too many players to rate this ****, no idea what we got but if history repeats we are trash. Many of us are gone, I have one more year, show something this year or go away either way problem solved.

I agree it seems money and p5 influence have a lot to with ratings of recruits/transfers even though some people dont think so.
