What if they love both? I suggest we got guys like mvs, selvie, grothe, and flowers guys that want to be a Bull and go all in for the Bulls. Find local kids and coach them up.

USF should continue to sell their location value. Tampa Bay is a great place.

But what else does it afford? That’s not enough when selling to kids/young adults. It’s a great place if you have some sort of income or there are realistic perks offered by the school. We have to start thinking past the basics and figure out what’s next and how to sell it. I or someone posted somewhere about NIL payments and it was low. If we know that payments are low, we need to use those facts and other things to drive young people to Tampa. That said, not all people want to be apart of losing culture. Have to fix things today for tomorrow.

Look, let’s just call it what it is. Power universities need to ditch the NCAA, ditch the “student-athlete” title and partner with NFL and NBA teams and create the “development” leagues that it is. Pay the kids like minor league players, NFL and NBA teams get affiliate universities and everyone can get paid and not worry about these stupid rules. I’m a purist, but even I can see that the true student-athlete was phased out decades ago.

I think Power universities and the rest should just be universities.  This running semi-pro <-> pro leagues is not in their charter.  Get rid of it.  Cut it all out.  Just get back to trying to educate those who wish to be educated.  If there were money in the P5 running these pro leagues the NBA and NFL would do it.  Problem is they don't get gazillions of taxpayer and student money to do so.  Such a misuse of funds.
