Since when is USF so excellent at keeping secrets. Also, just because your goal was to hire someone by 12/5, does not mean you wait until the last minute. Would be nice to have a coach hired to start recruiting and talking to players considering a transfer!

In the past, McMurphy and others has had all the rumors, dirt, etc.

The new Head Coach better not be Da Prato

You may be right, but I have a feeling MK was down to two (or so) at that time.  DS and his backup.  Hopefully he will have something real to announce on Sunday.

Seeing as the "sources" and rumors were all over the place Tuesday and it's been mostly quiet since, my thought is VPMK leaked different information to a few people and then knocked off the one who actually went to the media with it. Classic informant elimination move.

Agreed, that is why I am not worried at all right now. I think we already have the coach ready to go. Like you said, if they were out of football, it would be announced already, since it is not announced, we have a good idea of the the few candidates might be and they’re good options.

Maybe this shows that VPMK is in control of this situation. The fact it is still so secret shows control.
